Retreats Holy Dormition Monastery is the host for several annual retreats which are organized and sponsored by independent groups. In addition to their planned programs, participants enjoy the serenity of the monastery grounds and facilities and attend daily services. The nuns provide hospitality including meals and guest house accommodations for up to 24 persons. For summer retreats we have a large outdoor pavilion. Group retreats are limited to groups associated with the Orthodox Church and are subject to available space. For details and availability please contact the monastery. There are a number of groups, such as Orthodox Women in Healing Ministry (OWHM), Orthodox Women of Michigan, clergy wives groups, clergy groups, youth groups, senior citizen groups, bible study teachers groups and others that hold their annual retreats at the monastery.
